Music opportunities at St. John’s include choirs for all ages; handbells, brass, and other instrumental ensembles; and solo vocal and instrumental offerings in worship. Choirs provide worship leadership, sing anthems, and occasionally present musicals, concerts, and other worship presentations.
Alleluia Choir (kindergarten through second grade)
rehearses Wednesdays from 4:15-4:45 p.m. and sings in worship once a month.
Jubilate Choir (third through fifth grade)
rehearses Wednesdays from 4:45-5:30 p.m. and sings in worship once or twice a month.
Jubilate Schola Choir (sixth through eighth grade)
rehearses Wednesday from 5:15-6:00 p.m. and sings in worship once or twice a month.
Laudate Choir (ninth through twelfth grade)
rehearses Sundays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and sings in worship twice a month or more.
St. John’s Chorale (college and adults)
rehearses Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and sings weekly at the 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship.
Rejoice Ringers (handbell choir)
rehearses Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. and rings in worship about once a month.
