Show Me The Money
How are we funded? St. John’s Women exists solely on generous donations of time and money. We collect offerings at most Circle gatherings and at our monthly programs. Monetary donations support our work, supplies, and shipping for all our projects. Twenty-five percent of these funds go to the national WELCA headquarters to fund women’s projects globally. Remaining funds are used to support Lutheran World Relief, Global Health Ministries, and World Vision with our quilting, knitting, and kit-making. Funds are also used for honorariums for Courageous Conversations programs, and to support several local missions. Details are available in our handbook.
How to donate
If you are interested in making a gift, make your check payable to St. John’s WELCA. If you wish, you can specify the project (or shipping) on the memo line. Slip it into an envelope labeled WELCA and drop in the offering plate.
