St. John’s Forum: BUGS – An Unusual Apologetic with Prof. Kiara Jorgenson

In honor of Earth Day come and learn about how Christian thought and practice are connected to the kin we often squash, spray, and swat — BUGS. We’ll briefly explore the biological importance of insects on a global scale and related challenges when it comes to biodiversity. Our focus will then turn to regional concerns as we consider how insects inform and challenge our working theologies. Kiara Jorgenson is Assistant Professor of Religion and Environmental Studies at St. Olaf College.
