St. John’s is comprised of ten boards that both lead and serve the church community in their mission and function. The ten boards meet monthly, and each board is comprised of six voting members of the congregation.

Board members are important partners in the leadership of the congregation, and contribute greatly to the mission and vision of the church. Each board member serves a three-year term. The chairperson of the Boards, along with the officers of the congregation, make up the Congregation Council.

The authority and responsibilities of the church’s boards reflect the ministry of the church to both members and the community. Specifically, the ten boards are:
