Children and Youth Events this Weekend

Parents Night Out: is this Friday, December 6, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.:
Parents are invited to bring their children, ages 3 – 10, to St. John’s for Parents Night Out!  Drop your child(ren) off, take a break and enjoy a date night!  Adults and youth will be here to lead kids in activities.  No need to feed your children ahead of time – pizza will be served.  Please sign up in the Commons (Children/Youth bulletin board) so we know how many children to expect.  Contact Mike Skunes at 645-4429 if you have questions.

“Paying It Forward” … by grocery bagging? Calling all youth in grades 4-9!!! This Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., we’re heading down to Econo Foods to help bag groceries.  This is not meant to be a fundraiser, but rather it’s meant to encourage service by “Paying it Forward”.  What does that mean?  Come and see!  If we have enough youth sign up, we can divide the time into shifts.  We also need adults and high school kids to help supervise.  Sign up in the Commons or by talking with Mike Skunes or Julie Brehmer. This counts as a service project for those in confirmation!
